What Purpose Does The Holy Spirit Serve? Brings Rememberance

HE IS A TEACHER AND BRINGS THINGS TO YOUR REMEBRANCE:

(John 14:26)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

In this passage of scripture, the Holy Spirit is identified as the Comforter.  This is more than just giving peace and comfort when we are grieving from the loss of loved ones, or sadden because of some tragedy; have you ever been frustrated or upset because you couldn’t remember something important?  The Holy Spirit has reminded me of where I left my glasses, keys, or other mis-placed items, and many times I have prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to help me remember something that I knew I was suppose to be doing, but couldn’t remember what it was and He did!  As I grow older, I am grateful to know that the Holy Spirit is available to help my mind to recover information that sometimes I have a tendency to forget.
