Elyse Buongiorno:Eagles Up

BettyJean is honored to have Elyse tonight to talk about an inspiring program dedicated to our service members and their families.

I thought it was especially important to take time this week when we most should be thinking of them and thanking them for their service,  to chat with those who know and understand best what the needs are of our brave men and women. My dear friend Elyse is one such special person who can best share that information with us.

 Elyse has been involved with Eagles UP since its inception in July of 2007, first as a member, then as a State Coordinator, Regional Coordinator and finally as Executive Director.  Eagles UP established to serve, support and assist military personal and their families, it reaches out and includes the community in all our activities:

 They sent Christmas cards made by school kids to our troops, pictures for the slide show at the DFAC for Christmas Day, made blankets for the troops and donated to several toy programs Toys for Tots and Project Little Soldier.
