In honor of National Preparedness Month,  we are talking with Disability Integration Specialist, Jessica Mitchell, from (Federal Emergency Management Agency) FEMA’s Region V  branch about ways families of children with disability can prepare for disasters and seek relief after a disaster.

FEMA’s mission is to support our citizens and first responders to ensure that as a nation we work together to build, sustain, and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards.
