Blessed Benildus

Blessed (later Saint) Benildus – Educated by the De La Salle Brothers, he began his noviate at age 14.  He taught at several schools, visited the sick and attracted many to the religious life.  Over 200 of his students became De La Salle Brothers.  He was canonized in 1967 by Pope Paul VI.
