Indie Artist Spotlite Live with Adrian Blu

Join Shani "The Sultry Songbird" ,on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month, for a LIVE broadcast showcasing Indie artists of all genres. FEATURING Indie Artist, ADRIAN BLU, a "soulspirational-folk" artist with a strong funk orientation. A former member of several gospel-oriented groups and bands. Adrian has opened for The Winans, Commissioned, etc. In 1995, Adrian recorded an independent inspirational album with Lofton Pierce entitled, HEART OF HEARTS. In 2004, Adrian travelled with FERTILE GROUND, "BLACK IS TOUR" as a back up vocalist in Japan . Adrian has opened for artists such as: The Bar-kays, Frankie Beverly and Maze, The Time, Cameo, Anthony Hamilton, Vivian Green, Raheem DeVaughn and Chuck Brown. In October 2008, he was music director for Morgan State's stage production of James Weldon Johnson's GOD'S TROMBONES (wrote all original music for the play). He was a featured vocalist for a live tribute to the late grammy-award winning songwriter Skip Skarorough ("Can't Hide Love", "Giving You The Best That I've Got", "Love Ballad"). In addition, Adrian was also a featured vocalist for the 2008 Congressional Black Caucas awards dinner in Washington, DC (backed by the CLARENCE KNIGHT ORCHESTRA).
