April 9th Kasey Thompson and Knockout Promotions will once again be back at Qwest arena with some of Idaho's best talent, ready to bang it out. 4 CHAMPIONSHIP belts will be on the line, in a night of action-packed, full-contact, cage fighting action!! Gabe Miranda (Combat Fitness) 5'11" and weighing 200 lbs will step into the cage with his 12-9 record looking to add another win to his record. We will talk to Gabe about how the game has changed since he started, his goals as a fighter, and what it is like training at one of the best camps in Boise. Ronnie Rhodes (Team Hardcore) the 145 lb. CCF Champ will be stepping up a weight class to take on 155 lb. CCF Champ Ryan Portue (Team Crow) and looking to improve his record to 7-1. We will talk to Ronnie about this fight, being the champ, Idaho MMA, and his plans as a fighter. Kristi Doss will be back once again, this time she's the CCF Womens Champ. Kristi trains out of Primal Tribe and Kenny Keenes gym. We will talk to Kristi about her fight coming up, her plans as a fighter, being a women in MMA and how it is to be a women in Idaho MMA. Levi Madarieta will take on Jeff "The Dragon Slayer" Wright for the CCF Heavy Weight Title. Madarieta has not faced anyone on the other side of the cage like Wright. Wright stands a towering 6'10" and has to cut weight to make the limit for the HW division limit of 265. We will talk to Jeff about his goals in this fight and how he wants to win the fight, how it feels to be getting a shot at the belt, if he feels that Levi has earned his strap and much more. Kasey Thompson (President/Promoter of Knockout Promotions) will also be on the show to talk the rest of this fight card and as always we will make him, make some picks.
