40 shows already, you got to be kidding me! Well with this being the 40th show we've put on, we knew we had to pull out all the stops. With that being said, we have on the WEC Lightweight Champ Benson "Smooth" Henderson! That's right the man that hasn't lost a fight in almost 4 years and has beat all your favorite WEC fighters! Now back to our guest...... Benson Henderson was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After graduating high school Ben went on to Dana College in Blaire, Nebraska where he became a Two-Time NAIA Collegiate All-American and graduated with a dual major in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Ben is the only person in the History of the WEC to hold an Interim WEC Lightweight Champion, but he lost the Interim part after defeating Jamie Varner at WEC 46. We will talk to Ben about how he got into the fight game, if you haven't heard this story it is a great one. What his goal is in the sport, how it is helping out BJ Penn before a fight, and much more. Ben's first title defense will be against Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone on April 24, 2010 at WEC 48. We will talk to Ben about preping for this fight, if he thinks he knows how to beat Cowboy, and who he wants to fight if he does beat Donald, and much more.
