Ready or not, our fireground continues to evolve, yet we’re jumping off the trucks and injecting the same strategies and tactics we’ve developed back in the 40’s and 50’s.

The way we train hasn’t changed in decades, yet the same cannot be said for our fireground.  Text books haven’t caught up.  And yet, the basic fundamental principles of fire behavior and building construction have NEVER been more important.

With the plethora of scientific data and other new information coming at us from all sides, the question we should be asking is: “Are you ready to implement the fundamental changes your department may need.”
