Prayer is the key that unlocks heavens doors.  You have to stay in constant communication with God and that is through prayer and reading His Word.  When you read His Word you are feeding the spirit so that when it is time to pray you will already have your arsenal inside of you.

Praying scripture is the best way to communicate with God.  Not to say He doesn't hear your own prayers but when you pray the scripture you are praying Gods will in your life.  Hallelujah!
