Filmmaker Maria Juranic. She has written and directed a short film called Dreamers that uses breakdancing to explore the frustrating experience DACA recipients have with government bureaucracy. “Dreamers" is a commentary on the struggle DACA recipients face to solidify their right to be in the United States. On Nov. 6, Dreamers will screen at the Red Rock Film Festival as it continues to make the festival rounds.

Film director KD Davison is the director of this HBO special film documentary Soul of America:  The Battle for Our Better Angels, film airs October 27, 2020 at 9pm (eastern) on HBO. It’s a must-see film that’s part political documentary, part biography of one of America’s most respected presidential historians, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jon Mecham. The film is based on Mr. Mecham’s 2018 NY Times Best-selling book of the same name.  The Soul of America examines the good, the bad, and the ugly of American history at a very crucial time, as we’re about to have one of the most important presidential elections, perhaps in U.S. history.
