The Fighters Voice w Don McGuire and Ronald Mann - Para Fighter Edition

I just want to share whatever direction will be best for promoting Para Ju Jitsu -

My role in this is as Head of International Committee for Ju-Jitsu with Differently Abled Persons, JJIF also as the President of USJJO (NGB for JJIF). My business background is as an owner of multiple adult Day Centers for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Sweden is our first Para JJIF Worlds and will be trying to run it at all JJIF events going forward we have ran it successfully at the Pan-Ams this year.

I have a black belt in Ju Jitsu it’s more derived from Japanese Ju Jitsu then Brazillian Jiu Jitsu. I competed at JJIF Worlds and Pan-Ams (Fighting System) I won gold at Pan Ams in Mexico, I didn’t place at Worlds . I have had a World B Referee license from JJIF and refereed at opens, pan-ams, Nationals; I don’t use it in general anymore because it’s too difficult/conflict to lead an organization and also referee.

Leading international PJJ position was from JJIF Board. We believe I can coordinate and lead it well. I feel I need to surround myself with the right people for ultimate success, and build the committee in multiple aspects, have much input from athletes, coaches, supporters, etc. I have not run PJJ tournaments before starting with JJIF but see this aspect growing profoundly.
