Well, we talked about it for weeks, and ALL of us predicted it last week so I guess Kyle Larson HAD to win the race at Auto Club Speedway . . . and THAT leads off the conversation with the guys in the Frat House Sports Garage plus they’re guest co-host Christian Koelle of On Pit Road.com in advance of today’s NASCAR race #6 at Martinsville Speedway.

So, if 2016 was the Season of JGR, is 2017 going to be the “Season of the Young Driver” as epitomized by the early season success of Larson? With so much hope for the new and improved NASCAR product and sponsor and time changes, the 2017 ratings are the worst ever and not getting any better, and the Monster Energy Girls don’t seem to be helping. And, finally a controversial viewpoint on how NASCAR “stopped caring about the fans.”

Today we’re at Martinsville Speedway and, once again we can’t stay away from the red hot Kyle Larson who also holds the pole today for the race – again but this is Jimmie Johnson’s track and Chase Elliott is making some noise.
