This past weekend in the NFL proved there’s very little dominance. In fact, some say there’s nothing but watered-down mediocrity – that the NFL is sloppy and the quality of their game is what is responsible for the down ratings. Nonetheless, we were glued to every minute.
Who-da-thunk-this – the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens sit atop the AFC North . . . at 4 – 4! What was that argument about the NFL and mediocrity? Nothing mediocre about the Dallas Cowboys who are making a case for being the best team in the entire League. The Minnesota Vikings have lost their third-in-a-row, but the Green Bay Packers can’t take advantage of the opportunities in front of them. Meanwhile in Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers can’t tell fans to “R – E – L – A – X” this time. If the Cowboys are making a case, I say the Oakland Raiders are making the case for “most loved team” of the season.
