Week 13 was a rough loss for the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans—and you KNOW Jim Williams and Mike McShane have just a few thoughts… or more, over the Birds performance. Here comes the latest edition ofInside the War Nest”, the program CREATED by Philadelphia Eagles fans FOR Philadelphia Eagles fans. So grab an armchair, and fall in!

The Philadelphia Eagles hosted the formidable Seahawks, with their strong defense and QB Russell Wilson. The defense of Seattle proved too much for Mark Sanchez and company, as the Seahawks defeated the Eagles 24-14.

Mark Sanchez had a mediocre performance going: 10 of 20 / 50.0% / 96 yards / 2 TD’s – 1 INT /  76.3 QBR. Offensively, the team also struggled on 3rd down conversions; the running game was slow to get going with McCoy and Sproles and the time of possession was horribly imbalanced.

Coming up in week 14, its not deja-vu! The Birds match-up against the Dallas Cowboys and THIS game could mean the division! Which Tony Romo will show up? Was the Thanksgiving beatdown a preview of this game, or were the blue jerseys at home just messing with the Cowboys psyche? Offensively, the teams match up very closely, with Dallas taking the edge in the rushing game and DeMarco Murray.

With the season winding down, and the playoffs in sight, a debate is raging in the Philadelphia region: If the Birds see the postseason, who should start at QB? Should Mark Sachez continue the charge, or if well, should Nick Foles regain his position?
