The Second Census of Israel (Numbers 26 con'd) + Inheritance Law (Numbers 27)

(Numbers 26:58)    Moses and Eleazar are continuing to take the sum (census) of all the congregation of the children of Israel number twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers' house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.

(Numbers 27)        Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he has no son?  Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.  The daughters of Zelophehad speak right:  thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance amonf their father's brethren.............
