Guest Ergin Akbas-Lessons from Networking, Culture, Language

Ergin Akbas lives in Rochester, NY, and is originally from Turkey. He will share the lessons he's learned from using networking to land a civil engineering position, his transition to a new culture, and from learning a new language. 

Ergin’s civil engineering experience includes the Staten Island Expressway Bus/HOV Extension.

He is actively involved in several professional societies, as well other community organizations: Toastmasters International, House of Mercy, and Rochester Young Professionals.
