Inspiring Children to Exercise Freedom

Jenny Blakey has a passion for people, specifically children. She believes freedom of thought is the most important freedom of all, and her books are meant to inspire children to exercise that freedom. She spends her time improving the lives of those around her and helping people.

 

Her inspiration led her to write the Little Lightning Bug book series which is meant to unlock the imagination of the children who read them. Lidia and the Little Lightning Bugs is a colorful look into the lives of lightning bugs.

 

It chronicles the life of Lidia the Lightning Bug, who lives in a place called Littletown. Lidia spends her time teaching all the little lightning bugs how to make light. Full of bright colors and small details, this book is the perfect springboard to teaching children about the wonderful world we live in!
