Little Women

Our girl children are in trouble! We have dedicated an entire month to women and I wanted to tackle the subject of our young women. My guests Vanessa Van Petten and Nikki Smith will join us to discuss female teen issues. There is an alarming number of growing cases of teen pregnancy, incest and a host other events that our young women are facing on a daily basis. Vanessa Van Petten is the author of "You're Grounded!" - a parenting book from a kid's perspective and CEO of Radical, a company designed to improve parent-teen relationships. Nikki Smith is the Host of Facts of Life with Nikki here on BlogTalkRadio and her goal is to bring awareness to issues affecting our community and to explore various possible solutions. The goal of "Little Women" is to inform parents about the various signs they should look for, effective ways to communicate with your daughters about these topics, what to do if you are faced with such an issue and your child would even fall to such actions. This is a very important topic that many people try to ignore and/or don't have the strength to deal with. However, it is a very prominent reality.
