Author Spotlight with Chasity Strawder. Chasity knew that there was a purpose and higher calling to her life that surpassed being a classroom teacher. After prayerful consideration, she resigned from her career as a teacher in May of 2007. The following six years have been spent in dedicating her time to her family and seeking God concerning further direction for her life. Chasity returned to school in the summer of 2013 to complete a master's program in Educational Leadership. She recently graduated in May of 2014 and plans to pursue a career in school administration.  Chasity is also the author of a new book entitled "Broken for the Promise” that chronicles a difficult journey after discovering that she was pregnant with her second son, Joshua. The message conveyed to readers is one of hope and healing as there is restoration after complete devastation.
