"And we are a non-productive people as a race on this earth right now, we are non-productive.  Sure there are some of us that are making a dollar, we are beating the role, we are really making a lot of progress, but those are isolated cases.  The majority of us are in a state of limbo.  We are in a kind of suspension where we are afraid to move left, afraid to move right.  We are afraid to go forward, afraid to back up.  We are where we cannot trust anybody or anything.  And we have no motivation within ourselves to make us get up and pull ourselves out of that kind of stagnation or whatever you may call it.

What will bring it back?  Sincerity!  But what will bring about sincerity?  We have to bring about sincerity for ourselves.  But what will make it possible for me to entertain that need within myself or for myself? Someone who is not in our situation addressing the need in us.  That is all we need.  The one who calls the people back to their concerns.  The one who alerts the nation to get back to its interest, to get back to its concerns.  He is the one who sees the neglect; who sees that this thing is being neglected.  And because he sees the neglect, he is able to awaken the conscience of others who are not under other influences and cannot see the neglect.  And of those that he alerts, there are some who will be just as sincere as he, maybe more.  Just as committed as he, maybe more committed, and because of that, life can come back to the nation.  Life can come back to the members."
