Imam Saafir Rabb II of Baltimore, Maryland, is a model of the "excellent home in the future" that Imam Mohammed (ra) asked the generations to give him after his passing. He is what Imam Khalis Rashad, Imam of Ibrahim Islamic Center or Houston, Texas calls "a Bi-vocational Imam" https://medium.com/ummah-wide/a-case-for-the-3141bd455889.

In addition to being a Resident Imam in Baltimore, Maryland, Imam Saafir leads a team of problem solvers as CEO of Interculture, Inc. - a strategic advisory consultancy firm that designs culturally competent approaches for clients interested in achieving sustainable solutions as they operate across divergent cultures.  Interculture clients include governments, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and large corporations, foundations and civil society organizations. Saafir’s work has resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars toward initiatives that serve both community development and corporate profitability.

Imam Saafir has coordinated educational exchange and internship programs for American students in Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey and Syria (where he lived for two years studying Arabic and Islamic law)
