MARYLYNN JONES was born August 1st 1959 in Sacramento California. A mother of three sons Ramar Kevin, and Keith. Sadly, losing Kevin in 2005 and the proud mother of a beautiful daughter brandy. Being a mother and loving music has brought her to where she is today. Daughter to a pastor and a first lady of new hope Baptist church was very challenging, especially being the youngest of six girls. But they all had skills to write, compose, teach, and sing the chills and goose bumps into your soul. Her career began at a young age, winning her first talent show at five yrs. old at the Sacramento memorial auditorium and went on to win many more growing up through the yrs. At 15, she went to visit in Honolulu Hawaii for a week with the John F Kennedy Choir and sang at Pearl Harbor on the water. 1 yr. later, she traveled on the Bicentennial tour with the choir to NYC, Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington D.C. She also sang on Broadway, the Kennedy's estate, and the white house in front of president Ford. Ten years later in her career, at Immaculate Temple of God non-denominational Church, she put together a girl group, which included her daughter, writing and teaching every song they sang. A producer heard them, who worked with the late and great James Brown and in 1999, they sang at the pre-Grammy awards in loss Angeles California. “I am more than thankful and grateful to be so blessed and yes he has done just that in my life I'm now searching for a church home that I can share my life's born talents.”
