Shaliek's fresh vibe with classic soul is becoming more of a familiar face on various media outlets, establishing him as rising star to listen to and watch. His hit single "The Past" remained in the Top 15 on the Urban AC Chart for 8 consecutive weeks while the official video for the "The Past" maintained regular rotation at VH1 Soul, BET Centric and Music Choice. His followup single "Ain't Supposed to Cry" is continues to quickly move the Urban AC Chart, currently at 12* as of 5/12/14. The official video for "Ain't Supposed to Cry" as been added to VH1 Soul and is in rotation.
Shaliek is currently opening up for Ledisi's tour on several dates and will be doing several performance dates nationwide at the "Soul Food Festival".
