If you’ve heard music by Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Adele, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Neil Diamond, Paul Simon, Rick James, Teena Marie, Johnny Rivers, or Diana Ross, then you have heard The Waters - Julia, Maxine, Luther, and Oren.  Featured artists in the Oscar winner for Best Documentary and winner of the Critics’ Choice Award 2013 film 20 Feet from Stardom, The Waters are one of the most enduring talents ever launched into the music hit machine.

The Waters have made their contribution in the music industry by singing individually or collectively on hundreds of gold and platinum albums.  They have also sung in movies, like The Lion King, A Goofy Movie, Brother Bear, 101 Dalmatians, James and the Giant Peach, and Avatar, just to name a few.    If you are a television fan, then you have heard them sing theme songs for The Good Times, The Jefferson’s, Fame, and Murphy Brown.  They are also the singers for the Disney attraction, It’s a Small World.

Their vocal fluency embraces all genres of music including albums and CD’s in French, Japanese, Lebanese, Spanish, and Swahili.  At one point the group was associated with six of the top ten records on the international charts.

The Waters are very proud to have worked with Michael Jackson on his Thriller album, the biggest selling album in music history that transformed pop music.  They also worked with Michael on the Disney attraction Captain EO.

As stage performers, The Waters individually and as group have distinguished themselves on the road with many of the entertainment industries most notable artists. Having been the group for the television show Fame, the group traveled with Debbie Allen and “The Kids from Fame” on a world tour. The
