This time on my podcast: "Face-to-Face on Facebook" - I interview a brilliant, sterling brother and longtime friend and colleague: Mr. Kenneth Walker!!!
Kenny is a veteran journalist who has worked in every medium: print, radio and television. He was a reporter for the Washington Star newspaper, reported for ABC-TV News and became that network's first African American White House correspondent. Ken also worked as co-host for a daily newser for Gannett Media; hosted and co-produced my program: PowerPoint Radio, on National Public Radio, and was a foreign correspondent for NPR in South Africa.
Ken also ventured into book publishing with his company Lion House Publications.
Kenny lived for several years in South Africa and recently returned to the USA for a successful kidney transplant.
We share a candid discussion about his illustrious career, life and living as an expatriate in South Africa, and his observations about the current crisis in American politics under the Trump administration..
This podcast was produced on Saturday afternoon, September 22nd. It is posted on my Facebook page for playback the same evening.
And ~ next week, I talk with Kemetic historian Anthony (Tony) Browder about his ongoing excavation project in Egypt!
