WALK AND LIVE IN THE SPIRIT!

RECOVER ALL WEDNESDAY, based on 1 Samuel 30:8, where David ask God shall I pursue, and God answers yes, and RECOVER ALL. Today we are going to RECOVER ALL     by walking and living in the spirit. Born of the Spirit: “Unless one is born of…the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). It is not good enough just to be morally good, but we must receive the spirit of the Lord. The Holy Spirit is a transforming agent that helps us to be born, walk, and live in the spirit. Receive the Spirit:“Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). Jesus told us when He went back to prepare a place for us so that where He is we will be also.

So He left the Holy Spirit to comfort us as we go through the process of preparing for heavenly living. Live/Walk by the Spirit:“If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25). “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing” (John 6:63). Lifestyle changes are a result of focus and practice. One who looks intently and puts it into effect will be blessed (James 1:25). It is one thing to define an experience, and another thing to walk in it. He energizes our experiences as we fix our eyes upon Jesus and ask for His life to flow within our spirits filling us with a rush of transforming power, wisdom, and emotional well-being (see Romans 8:2). Let me encourage you today while it is yet called today to not only walk but to live daily by the leading of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, Amen...
