PLUGGED INTO THE SOURCE!

Jesus said it like this, (John 15:4-5,7) “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing… If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you…” so It is very important that we begin our days, our mornings plugged into the power source. When I woke up this morning, I plugged in my iPad because it was dead and needed to be recharged. Are you plugged into the true source of power, Jesus? This is what happens when we are not plugged into the proper Power Source. Our lives tend to become messy, filled with confusion with no direction and then we play the blame game. Vision becomes clouded, our hearing becomes distorted and our thinking is scattered without any peace. We can associate this messiness with the fact when we are not plugged into the Lord.  It is interesting that when the power goes out so many people tend to panic But, even candlelight does not shine as bright as when you have the proper power source connected and working. It is interesting that even with a flicker of light we tend to stumble in the dark. This goes the same when our complete power source has been cut off, we find ourselves not able to accomplish anything.  Staying plugged into the source is that if we inhabit, live in Him, His words (the bible) dwell in us. This daily living and occupancy are continuous and intentional. We stay plugged in by reading the written Word. We are told to pray without ceasing. Be quick to forgive. Serve others. Worship and Praise the Lord in season and out of season. Fasting…Apart from Christ you can do NOTHING. Be encouraged to stay plugged into the source. Jesus!
