Dr. Johnson returns for a reunion episode to discuss career, writing, and current events. He is the author of Memoirs of a Young Black Scholar: Surviving and Coping with Loss.

Dr. Larry D. Johnson, Jr. began serving as the sixth President of Phoenix College (PC), A Maricopa Community College, July 1, 2018. PC serves approximately 17,000 students, annually, and is designated as a Hispanic-serving institution. Dr. Johnson is a first-generation college student and passionate student-centered leader, who has served community colleges for more than 14 years. Previously, He served as Campus Provost & Chief Academic Officer at St. Louis Community College (Forest Park campus). He holds an undergraduate degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, a graduate degree and postgraduate certificate from Florida State University, and a doctorate degree from Clark Atlanta University.
