Symbols of Soul

Kathy Shimpock is a transpersonal practitioner. Her company, Symbols of Soul, helps clients discover and explore their own inner wisdom. They learn to interpret and understand the language of spirit, that is, those messages which show up in daily life as metaphors, symbols, images and synchronicities.

The tools she uses for transformation include: Transpersonal Hypnotherapy & Guided Imagery; Reiki and other energy work; Spiritual Guidance mentoring; depth Coaching; Storytelling; Art; Ceremony and Ritual.

Kathy came to the Holistic field by way of a career in law. In 2008, Kathy became interested in learning Hypnosis as a means of dealing with her chronic pain. Since then, she has become a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Reiki Master Teacher, Storyteller, Ordained Minister, and a Certified Spiritual Guidance mentor (specializing in spiritual direction through the use of spiritual practice). She also provides workshops to groups and retreat centers on spiritual topics and the use of expressive arts to assist in Psychological and Spiritual growth.

Kathy is also an Artist and an approved facilitator for Soul Collage®, a creative process for personal and spiritual growth and development, based on the work of Seena Frost. Along with her lifelong pursuit of art, she has a deep interest in transpersonal studies including self-actualization, Mythology and Jungian Psychology. Her artistic pursuits focus on the creation of custom mandalas and myths, and on spiritual art. Kathy is currently an instructor at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and at the Storytelling Institute at South Mountain Community College.
