Choose yea this day who you acknowledge as your creator.

Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26 are the chapters that list the blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience to the Law. They are referenced more than 1,000 times in the prophets. 

• Do you acknowledge God as your Creator? Have you put your trust in the person and work of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins? Do you know anyone who needs to hear the good news of Christ’s death and resurrection?
• When we think about the importance of nations treating people well, those in democratic countries may focus only on voting. However, there are other ways to encourage the proper treatment of people apart from passing legislation. How are people being mistreated in your community? What can you do in your community to encourage treating people with the honor and dignity they deserve as human beings made in God’s image?
• Some Christians may think of their faith as between them and God. We can forget that God cares about the whole world. What do you know about the challenges and opportunities Christians experience in countries outside your own? How could you learn more about what God is doing in other parts of the world?
