As a kid, I always had a place in my heart for animals. In my household while growing up there was always some sort of animal present, from birds, dogs, snakes to lizards. I was always more of a reptile fanatic. My first reptile ever was actually a Spurred Tortoise (Sulcata Tortoise). That's what implanted the passion and love I have for these reptiles. As I grew older over the years I had the privilege of owning bearded dragons, leopard geckos, ball pythons, tegus, iguanas and savanah monitors. I didn't have a steady income at the time so supplying my reptiles needs were at times difficult for me, so we ended up finding homes or giving my reptiles away. After years pass of not owning a reptile of any sort I decided to pick the hobby back up, since I'm older and have a steady income now I can definitely supply the proper needs for my pet. I looked through all sorts of options but Leopard Geckos stood out too me the most, I absolutely fell in love with all the new morphs and the genetic aspect of it all. I dove straight into them. My goal is to produce strictly quality geckos.. Quality over Quantity. I mainly want to focus on line breeding and maybe strengthening up some blood lines.

We are reptiles enthusiasts from Brooklyn, New York and we have always been some of the many that ask ALOT of questions about an animal before buying them. We have always had the same dilemma with nearly every breeder we encountered; communication!  After 18 months of trial and error, Empire State Reptiles Live was born.
