As the big holiday of the year quickly approaches, instead of asking what you're doing for the weekend, we're offering up alternative solutions!

On this episode of The Ernest Experience Radio Show, Ernest keeps it light, & offers up some fun alternatives for Christmas.  We all have that drunk uncle who turns mildly racist, or that aunt who gets a little too hands-on with the family after a few shots of Kahlua.  So what does one do to get away from all that?  Find out!

Also, what books are you reading this winter? We'll talk about ways to get into a book, & get away from the family drama this weekend.  Ernest also shares some of his more cherishes Oklahoma holiday traditions, including a song about the 3rd largest land mammal, & a local jewelry store.  Included in the 2nd set is a quick humanitarian note on the death of North Korea's leader Kim Jong Il. What can the future hold for the North Korean people?

All this plus lots of fun music, NPR news, & all the usual fun fare! We're ditching Ern's 3-minute commentary & giving you a double shot of music at the top of the show, including "Freedom For Palestine" from Freedom One World - the song Glenn Beck hates! We ain't skurr'd.
