All-Music Monday Is In Effect!

Tonight, we are featuring a great artist that we've actually had the great pleasure to talk to way back in the early days of The Ernest Experience Radio Show, (and replayed that interview on Side Show in 2010). We realized we've never featured his record in full.  Tonight, we plan to remedy that.

Monte Moir is a founding member of The Time (the band now known as The Original 7ven), who had hits like "777-9311", "Cool", "The Walk", & "Gigolos Get Lonely Too".  He's also written & produced hits for people like Alexander O'Neal, & Janet Jackson ("The Pleasure Principle"), & more.  Monte struck out on his own in 2001 with his debut solo album, and stunned fans with record that was the exact opposite of what fans thought a member of The Time would produce.  This Side Of Paradise, the title taken from an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, encompasses lush keyboards, mellow grooves, catchy hooks, & Monte's signature high tenor voice.  He's often been compared to the likes of James Taylor, in voice & musical style.

So sit back, & be prepared to find yourself sinking into this record like a big easy chair.  It's just that comfy!
