All-Music Monday: Los Amigos Invisibles - Commercial

All-Music Monday is in full effect!

Tonight, we are doing things a bit different, at least for us.  We discovered independent artist Los Amigos Invisibles quite a few years ago when a friend sent us their album Arepa 3000: A Venezuelan Journey into Space (2000).  The amigos have been making awesome music since 1995, but it was the 2009 release Commercial that had us shakin' our backsides!  Purposely named "commercial" because of the wide variety of music on the album, from disco, to dance, to R&B, funk, rock, soul, & more.  While the album is mostly in Spanish (only two of the tracks are English), we haven't been shy about playing their single, "Mentiras", on ERN frequently.  

In 2009, they won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.  Tonight, you get to enjoy the whole thing.  So for our Latino listeners, enjoy; and to our English-only speaking listeners - ENJOY!  This record has something for everyone.  All this plus NPR News, and much more.  So move the coffee table, and let's dance!
