This is a show not to be missed! Your gracious host Ernest will be joined by a voice and an attitude that is yet unmatched - that being the awesome YahZarah.

Wait, 'who is YayZarah', you ask? YahZarah, a singer-songwriter who first made her mark as a background singer for Erykah Badu, has spent the past few years touring in support of her albums Hear Me (2001). A follow up LP, 2003’s Blackstar, was issued on the Three Keys label and reached #44 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. Following that was 2008’s The Prelude.

She worked on The Ballad of Purple St. James independently for a number of years before reaching out to Phonte (a longtime friend and fellow NC Central music student), and finally selecting +FE Music as her label home.

YahZarah and her badass self will join us LIVE. Tune in to hear tracks from her new record (which is off the charts, ya'll!), and our sure-to-be fun talk with her. Also, hear the song that Ernest calls "the ballad Prince wishes he could write today". The chat room and phone lines will be open.
