Carla B. has a one on one interview with best selling author of The 48 Laws of Power, Robert Greene. The 48 Laws of Power represents a collection of 48 laws that demonstrate to individuals how they can gain power, preserve it and defend themselves against those powerful folks who make their lives miserable. The 48 Laws of Power provides guidance that the author freely admits is, on occasion, cunning and amoral. It includes lessons like “Law 1: Never outshine the master” and “Law 14: Pose as a friend, work as a spy.” Robert Greene is also the author of The Art of Seduction, The 33 Strategies of War and most recently, the 50th Law which is an elaboration of his ideas on power in context of the life of rapper 50 cent. Rappers such as Kanye West, Young Buck and Drake have rapped about Greene’s, The 48 Laws of Power, mentioning the title by name. Multi platinum rapper Busta Rhymes once received a specially engraved cover of the book to help deal with problematic movie producers. These connections led to his collaboration with 50 Cent.
