#EWWNRADIO 619-639-4709 (SUN – FRI 10PM EST / 7PM PST) brings you “THE PRESENTATION OF THE GOSPEL”-“Jesus Wept.” John 11:35 is the shortest verse in the Bible yet so powerful. Verse 26 “And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” Jesus declared that he himself was "the resurrection and the life" and in verse 33; Jesus groaned in the spirit and was troubled because despite what he told them they were still blind to the fact that He was the “resurrection and the life” The only one who believed that Christ was the “resurrection and the life” was the dead man Lazarus. This holds true because in verse 43 when Christ called with a loud voice “Lazarus come forth” He immediately obeyed, received life and rose from his grave. Christ was not crying for Lazarus, he was crying for those who did not believe in him, moreover the ones who were closest to him. How many of us have people close to us that don’t believe in us. Fathers, Mothers, sons and daughters look at each other and understand the meaning of not believing in each other now magnify that on a grand scale – God sent his only son and He congregated with people who did not believe in him.  Now tie it all together – It was the dead who understood and believed in the power that was given to Christ through our Father in heaven.
