We are God’s children so we as parents do what God has done for us. We sacrifice for our children; using our pension funds to pay for their college, make sure they have adequate food, clothing and shelter knowing that we could use extra sleep, a new pair of shoes and a well needed rest from long working hours. We as soldiers sacrifice our lives. We go to war in defense of our people so they can have the freedom that they know. Healthy Marriages sacrifice personal gain and desire to show commitment and love. Children will also show unconditional love to parents no matter what. Where do all these sacrifices come from? They have been here since the dawn of man and seen, shared and appreciated by many but the greatest sacrifice seen was the sacrifice that God made and that was sacrificing his son Jesus, that we may have ever lasting life. Matthew 6:33 – Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Why put God first, because God put us first.
