Get your concert information out to the media by way of radio, TV and internet social media, list it in the community calendar and have it printed in your local Newspaper and Magazines. Determine the size of the event; you want and make sure you have an adequate amount of funding to launch it. Before speak to anyone, before any paperwork is signed, any negotiations are set on the table, before you make the commitment to have the concert, make sure the funds are available. Find out what other performances; competitors or otherwise and events will be appearing in the city the same day and time that your event will be starting. If you planned an outdoor event and weather does not permit, be prepared. Make sure that the venue has an inside area that will there be substantial seating.
