FORGIVENESS

Entertainment Worldwide Network 619-639-4709 (EVERY SUN – FRI 10PM EAST COAST / 7PM WEST COAST) brings you “FULL THROTTLE FRIDAYS.” Tonight’s topic is “Forgiveness.” Forgiveness does not come easily especially for most of us especially if we have been wronged in such a way that the pain is unbearable or comes the ones we least expect. We must forgive by faith. Jesus calls us to remember that we are all God's children. Just as God loves all His children and is willing to forgive their sins, we must also be willing to forgive others who have also wronged us in any way. Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive you. Luke 6: 37 goes on to say “Judge not, and you shall not be judged, Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. Forgiveness is one of the greatest blessings from God and one of the greatest choices we have to make when faced with the pain of someone doing wrong to us. Imagine if we lived by the words “an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth,” we would all be blind and toothless. Be prudent in this matter of forgiveness, just as our Father has forgiven us.
