LOVE THY NEIGHBOR

Entertainment Worldwide Network 619-639-4709 (EVERY SUN – FRI 10PM EAST COAST / 7PM WEST COAST) brings you “FULL THROTTLE FRIDAYS.” Tonight’s topic is “Love Thy Neighbor.” In the teachings of Jesus our relationship with each other is inseparable from our relationship with God. Mark 12:28-31-then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?” Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments of is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. ‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. “And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. Loving thy neighbor is to love all of humankind even our enemies as told by Jesus as his parable of the good Samaritan-Luke 10:25-37. Love our neighbor as we love ourselves.
