How deep into the mind shaft will you lead them?  Will you leave them alone in the shaft as the dynamite detonates? The sound of your voice controls them all. The power you hold is in the piece you recite. The wisdom is in your writing. Like a heavy weight boxing champion you have to hit them from every angle and every connecting punch counts. Like a child you have to lead them so they follow instinctively and without fear and in the end like a snake you strike piercing them and leaving crippled with venom – something they will never forget. Will you be the matador holding a simple red cape or are you the fierce bull with the with the 20 inch deadly horns. Will you be the prey or the prayer for your audience? You chose mighty Spoken Word Poet but choose wisely as your honor depends upon it.
