Tonight’s topic is “Music knows No Boundaries.” From the dawn of time, nation to nation and from culture to culture music can be found. From the rhythmic sounds of the human body to the sounds of waves crashing into the shores or the wind rustling through the trees even in the silence of falling snow music can be heard. Music can be heard in the animal kingdom as elephants sound off from the flow of air through their trunk to chattering sounds that monkeys make and all the way down to the songs that some insects produce from rubbing their wings together. Yes it’s true that music knows no boundaries but lets dwell on the Major Labels and the boundaries. At one time they ruled and they monopolized the whole music world some even used sounds that came from the animal and insect kingdom. The only way an Artist was going to make it to the top was through these dinosaurs but just as the dinosaurs fell so did their hold on the music world. Through adaptability and the internet, the Indi Artist not only survived but has the ability to reach an extensive amount of people. Artists converse, support and collaborate with other Artists and so music still continues to stand the test of time. Let our panel of experts elaborate more.
