Misery is BET’s notorious 106&Park 5 time Freestyle Friday champion. During his time working with BET, Misery was offered a record deal by T.I, but decided not to accept. He was noticed by big artists and producers such as Childish Gambino, 2 Chainz, Terrance J, etc. Misery has also auditioned for X Factor and exceeded to the top 200 out of the thousands that auditioned. Here he met a couple connections that inspired him to embrace his music career. Throughout his career, he has been scheduled shows left and right at local venues in the Louisiana area. Venues such as The Republic, Metropolitan, Masquerade, Jackson Brewery, etc. In 2014, he decided to team up with StrikeWorks and finally release a project that went by the name of “48 Bars”. This project included remixes from top Billboard songs that made it as hits.
