A Belle That Cares.....End Bullying Part4

In March we will be talking about bullying and the effects it has on our teens.

Currently I am working with Fayette Cares on a year-long project.  Every year Fayette Cares conducts a toy drive at Christmas to help less fortunate families in our community.  I have sat down with the directors and staff at Fayette Cares to come up with a year-long project. I am hoping this way people will have all year to donate and not just one time a year and more donations can be made.  Maybe we can reach out to more families in need this Christmas.  Here is my current project(s):

February - Paint me a Picture Month (crayons, coloring books, markers, paint, chalkboards, molding clay, construction paper, etc.) - March - Snuggle up Month (new teddy bears or stuffed toys) - April - Don’t get Board Month (new board games, cards, etc.) - May - Ready to Read Month (new books for all ages) - June - Piece it Together Month (new puzzles) - July - All Dolled up Month (new dolls: Barbie’s, baby dolls, rag dolls, GI Joe’s, wrestlers, etc.) - August - Cruising Month (new cars and trucks: can be die cast, plastic (big or small), trains, etc.) - September - Just for Babies Month (new baby and toddler toys) - October - Diggin Dinosaurs Month (new dinosaur toys) - November - Let’s Play Dress Up Month (new dress up clothes; princesses, fireman, fairies, policemen, etc.)  - December – Donate any new toys

I am continuing my Helping Hands of TN platform that focuses on youth volunteerism in our community.  This will be our 4th year and I hope it is the best yet. This will also be my 2nd year directing my own Crowns that Care pageant (all proceeds to benefit Fayette Cares).
