Animals and Spirit The love between humans and animals is unique. Each day, they unconditionally love us as they teach us some of the most important life lessons we are here to learn. I believe our furry friends are here to heal us and to give us what we are missing in our lives. I know I wouldn’t have been able to survive the many challenges of the past two years without my beloved dog, Pooch; I never wanted a big, smelly dog that sheds but I know my angels sent him to me to heal my heart during and after my sister’s fatal illness.
