Some destructive behaviors are easy to identify & some are not. Why is it that we can continue to partake in negative activity, even when we know it is harmful? What makes one continue to stay in destruction, whether it is an unhealthy relationship, drug abuse, partying, or an unhealthy lifestyle? Why are we not willing to seek out the source of our pain in order to understand why we harm ourselves? Just because some activities are normal & legal, an overindulgence can become negative. The problems first have to be brought to light. Denial & lying to yourself will only prolong your healing.
