October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We are talking about breast cancer and what men and women can do to keep safe. We will be talking with Tina Grimstead-Campbell Founding President of Pink Petals for Pat and Ronald Grimstead, Houston Chapter President of Man Enough To Wear Pink Too. Pink Petals for Pat is a non-profit outreach organization established to educate, encourage, enhance and empower women, volunteers, breast cancer patients and the community at large from all walks of life. We serve as advocates for patients and survivors by examining funding, screenings, patient support, breast cancer education and treatment projects, services and resources for the uninsured and the underinsured. Man Enough To Wear Pink are members of The Breast Health Collaborative of Texas, Gateway to Care, Susan G. Komen Circle of Promise, and The Rose. Their mission is to provide support for those battling breast cancer, caregivers and their loved ones. Man Enough members are counselors, attorneys, health care workers, educators, ministers, paramedics, advocates, and survivors. They educate and empower caregivers to be active participants in the fight to eradicate breast cancer. We provide workshops to educate men to effectively be there for the women they love. We provide additional services such as Counseling, Transportation, Meals, Running of Errands, etc
