Michael Prager is a journalist, author, and public speaker on the topics of food addiction, obesity, and healthy living. He focuses his journalism on sustainability in the areas of food, food in schools, agriculture, and related innovation. His book, "Fat Boy Thin Man," uses memoir techniques — he was heavy for his first 30-plus years, reaching 365 pounds in 1991 — to share the lifestyle and attitude changes that have led to a consistent 155-pound loss for 20 years. He lives in Arlington, Mass., with his wife, Georgina, and toddler, Joseph.
