This episode starts with Mel Stout and his wife Liz buying an old house or mansion on top of a mountain. They have plans to turn it into a ski resort. Just before the resort is to open the home's former owner tells the Stouts that they will soon meet their doom, as did the previous owner. The previous owner's car was forced off the road by a car driven by a skeleton.

Of course this story is laughed off by Mel Stout, however when he goes to pick up his first guests, guess what, his car is driven off the road by a car driven by a skeleton. From then on Mel is driven to find the 'driver' of the car.

From this point on the story takes the usual twists and turns so popular in this series, with a big reveal at the end.
